Henry II (Curtmantle) King of England was born March 25, 1133 in Le Mans.1 He was the son of Geoffrey V Plantagenet Count of Anjou and Matilda.1 He married Eleanor of Aquitaine, daughter of William X Duke of Aquitaine and Aenor de Chattelerault, on May 18, 1152 in Bordeaux, France. He died on July 6, 1189 in Chinon at age 56.1 He was buried in Fontevraud Abbey.1
