Isabella of Angouleme was born about 1188 in Angoulême.1 She was the daughter of Aymer of Angouleme Taillefer Count and Alice de Courtenay.1 She married John (Lackland) King of England, son of Henry II (Curtmantle) King of England and Eleanor of Aquitaine, on August 24, 1200 in Bordeaux.1 She died on May 31, 1246 in Fontevraud Abbey.1 She was buried in Fontevraud Abbey.1
