John (Lackland) King of England was born December 24, 1167 in Beaumont Palace, Oxford, England.1 He was the son of Henry II (Curtmantle) King of England and Eleanor of Aquitaine.1 He married Isabella De Clare of Gloucester Countess, daughter of William of Gloucester Earl, on August 29, 1189 in Marlebridge. He married Isabella of Angouleme, daughter of Aymer of Angouleme Taillefer Count and Alice de Courtenay, on August 24, 1200 in Bordeaux.1 He died on October 19, 1216 in Newark Castle, Newark, Nottinghamshire, England, at age 48.1 He was buried in Worcester Cathedral.1
