Matilda was born about November, 1103 in Winchester Castle.1 She was the daughter of Henry I (Beauclerc) King of England and Matilda (Edith) of Scotland.1 She married Henry V Holy Roman Empr on January 7, 1114 in Mainz. She married Geoffrey V Plantagenet Count of Anjou, son of Fulk of Jerusalem and Aremburge de Maine, on May 22, 1127 in Le Mans.1 She died on September 10, 1167 in Rouen.1
