Louise was born August 5, 1828 in The Hague. She was the daughter of Frederik of Netherlands Prince and Louisa of Prussia. She married Charles XV King of Sweden, son of Oscar I King of Sweden and Josephine de Beauharnais, in 1850. She died on March 30, 1871 in Stockholm, Sweden, at age 42. She was buried in Stockholm.
