George I King of England was born May 28, 1660 in Leineschloss, Osnabruck, Hanover, Germany. He was the son of Ernest Augustus of Brunswick Duke and Sophia. He married Sophia Dorothea of Celle, daughter of George William of Brunswick Duke and Celle, on November 22, 1682 in Celle. He died on June 11, 1727 in Osnabruck at age 67. He was buried in Moved in 1957 to, Herrenhausen.
