George II King of England was born October 30, 1683 in Herrenhausen, Palace, Hannover, Germany. He was the son of George I King of England and Sophia Dorothea of Celle. He married Caroline of Ansbach, daughter of John Frederick of Brandenburg- Margrave, on August 22, 1705 in Herrenhausen. He died on October 25, 1760 in Kensington, Palace, London, England, at age 76. He was buried in Westminster, Abbey, London, England.
