James Francis Edward Prince of Wales was born June 10, 1688 in St. James Palace, London, England. He was the son of James II King of England and Mary Beatrice of Modena. He married Maria Casimire Clementina Sobieska, daughter of James Louis Sobieski Prince, on September 3, 1719 in Monte Fiascone. He died on January 1, 1766 in Rome, Italy, at age 77.
