Edward II King of England was born April 25, 1284 in Caernarvon, Castle, Wales. He was the son of Edward I (Longshanks) King of England and Eleanor of Castile. He married Isabella of France, daughter of Philip IV the Fair King of France and Joan of Navarre, on January 25, 1308 in Bolongne. He died on September 21, 1327 in Berkeley Castle, Gloucestershire, at age 43. He was buried in Gloucester, Cathedral.
