Katherine Stanley was born 1430 in Stanley, Derbyshire, England. She was the daughter of Thomas Stanley 1st Baron of Stanley and Joan Goushill. She married Sir John Savage, son of Sir John Savage of Clifton and Elizabeth Brereton, in 1447 in Clifton, Cheshire, England.1 She died in 1498 in Clifton, Cheshire.
