Edmund Crouchback, 1st Earl of Lancaster was born January 16, 1245 in London, England.1 He was the son of Henry III King of England and Eleanor of Provence.1 He married Aveline de Forz, daughter of William of Albemarle de Forz Count, on April 9, 1269 in Westminster, Abbey, London, England. He married Blanche of Artois, daughter of Robert I of Artois and Matilda of Brabant, before February 3, 1276 in Paris, France. He died on June 5, 1296 in Bayonne at age 51.1
