Elisabeth of Austria was born July 9, 1526. She was the daughter of Ferdinand I Holy Roman Emperor and Anna of Bohemia and Hungary. She died on June 15, 1545 at age 18.
In 1543 she was married to future King Sigismund II Augustus of Poland and Lithuania.
