Bessiewallis Simpson was born 1896 in U.S.A. She was the daughter of Teackle Wallis Warfield and Alice Montague. She married Edward VIII Duke of Windsor, son of George V King of England and Mary of Teck (May) Queen, on June 3, 1937 in Chateau de Cande, Monts, France. She died on April 24, 1986 in Paris, France. She was buried in Frogmore, Windsor, Berkshire, England.
