Louis IV of Hesse Grand Duke was born 1837. He was the son of Charles of Hesse Prince and Elizabeth of Prussia Princess. He married Alice Maud Mary Princess, daughter of Albert Augustus Charles Prince and Victoria Queen of England, on July 1, 1862 in Osborne House, Isle of Wight. He died in 1892.
