Francis II King of France was born January 19, 1544 in Fontainebleau, France. He was the son of Henry II King of France and Catherine of Florence de Medici. He married Mary Queen of Scots, daughter of James V King of Scotland and Mary of Guise, on April 24, 1558 in Paris, France. He died on December 5, 1560 in Orleans, France, at age 16. He was buried in St. Denis, France.
