Gustav VI Adolf King of Sweden was born November 11, 1882 in Stockholm, Sweden. He was the son of Gustav V King of Sweden and Victoria of Baden Sweden. He married Margaret of Sweden Crown Princess, daughter of Arthur William Patrick Prince and Louise Margaret of Prussia Duchess, on June 15, 1905 in Windsor, England. He married Louise Alexandra Mountbatten Princess, daughter of Louis of Battenberg Prince and Victoria Alberta of Hesse Princess, on November 3, 1923 in Chapel Royal, St. James Palace, England. He died on September 15, 1973 in Helsingborg at age 90. He was buried in Royal Cemetery, Haga Castle Park.
