Margaret of Anjou was born March 23, 1429 in Pont-a-Mousson, Lorraine. She was the daughter of Rene Count of Anjou. She married Henry VI King of England, son of Henry V King of England and Catherine of Valois, on April 22, 1445 in Titchfield, Abbey, Hants. She died on August 25, 1482 in Chateau de, Dampiere, Near Saumur, at age 53. She was buried in Angers, Cathedral.
