Otto I Friedrich Ludwig King of Greece was born June 1, 1815 in Salzburg, Austria. He was the son of Ludwig I King of Bavaria and Therese of Saxe- Hildburghausen. He married Amalia on November 22, 1836 in Oldenburg, Germany. He died on July 26, 1867 in Bamberg, Germany, at age 52. He was buried in Theatinerkirche, Munich, Germany.
