Jesse Dobbs was born in 1793 in Georgia.1 He was the son of Josiah Dobbs and Luzanna. He married Mary Prothro, daughter of Nathaniel Prothro and Zilphia Morgan, on August 31, 1824 in Elbert County, Georgia.2 He died after 1850 in Georgia.
He witnessed the will of Nathaniel Prothro in 1823 in Elberton, Elbert County, Georgia.
