Domonick Kollros was born on July 15, 1828 in Grand Duchy of Baden; His headstone at St Louis cemetery in Louisville shows year of birth as 1830.1 He was the son of Joseph Kollros and Magdalena Ringwald. He married Elizabeth Ulrich about 1856 in Kentucky. He died on January 4, 1917 in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, at age 88.2
