Felix DeBacker was born on August 9, 1892 in St Marys, Pottawatomie County, Kansas. He was the son of August Vital Francois Joseph DeBacker and Della Gaume. He was baptized on August 14, 1892 in Immaculate Conception Church, St Marys, Pottawatomie County, Kansas; god-parents are listed as Hermes DeBacker and Addie Richslaeller.1 He married Marie Heiser about 1914 in St. Bernard Church, Atchison, Kansas.1 He died in 1940 in Hastings, Adams County, Nebraska.
